Novoletka 2009 is at a go. The annual party for Anime and Manga- fans here in Slovenia is returning for its eighth year, and it's better than ever.

This year we will go bigger, badder, as AnimeSloveija and SloAnime unite under one roof to kick off the best party ever. And also for the first time, we will be open to the public so anyone can come. For all those lost souls who have either heard about anime but don’t know what is it and for those who know nothing of it yet. We want to introduce to you the part of Japanese culture we adore and love.

And this year, it seams, that we have gone national, because we are expecting cosplayers from Italy and Germany on out event.

Art Programming :

• Writing Kanji

  Together with the students from The Faculty of Arts, the Japanese Studies Programme, were going to discover the meaning behind Japanese kanji

• How to Draw Manga

  Together we will be discovering the wonderful world of drawing manga and its little tricks.

  One cup of instant ramen, one set of chopsticks and severe competition.

• Bake-off competition

  A contest where every one can compete. All you have to do is bring a snack, be it sweet of salty.

• Best Drawing

  The competition will take place on the event itself.

• Best Cosplay

  Cosplayers are going to hit it off for the title of Best Costume
